Had a great adventure into nature with @living_lovelace . 

I may have to add photos one at a time because instagram said so 😂

There is something magical about looking at a photo and seeing focus, poise, patience, intensity, effort, heart....I could keep going. 

I love brining a perspective that makes these little athletes larger than life. 

They always play so much bigger than they are.

This steeple was one of the first things I photographed when I was starting the Photography journey. I was still learning what the exposure triangle was, which should add a little perspective in regards to where I was as a photographer.

I had just started with my used Nikon D750 and a $20 lens i purchased from Goodwill. The lens' plastic body had the feel of a cheap toddlers toy. The zoom was loose, and it came with a scratched up filter that i had to remove. I had no idea if the lens worked, but i was gonna find out.

It was a very cheap variable aperture zoom lens that, looking back, I never would have purchased if I knew then what I know now, and that would have been a huge mistake.

That cheap "crappy" lens ended up meaning more to me as a photographer than anything I had purchased to that point.

I didn't know it at the time, but what I had really purchased was photographic freedom. 

I didn't' care if I broke the lens, it cost $20. I didn't care if the pictures where perfect, it cost $20. I ventured into places I wouldn't have visited with more expensive gear. I was free to just GO and take photographs. It allowed me to free my mind and open my eyes, without the worry of what might happen.

I saw the world with more clarity through that cheap little plastic lens.

The walked out onto that field, and left every ounce of themselves on it. 

I am really going to miss some of these guys.

Rumor has it, the opposing defense is still trying to catch him.

It's always a battle when Creek Wood and Dickson play. My favorite game to photograph every year. Forgive the odd Instagram Cropping. 😂

It's hard to believe that this image was taken during my first high school football game shoot. That D500 was an exceptional first sports camera.

I am always chasing peak action, but the simple ones bring a little bit of peace and balance to the chaos.

Such a fun experience. I don't think I will ever have another wild one just sit and interact with me.
